As we get to the end of the church year and prepare to celebrate the beginning of Advent, our readings point us to the day of the return of Christ. We examine Luke 21 and the stunning prophecy about the destruction of the temple in 70AD and the admonintion to all Christians that they may very well face persecution in the life of faith. In the end, we know Christ is victorious, and we place our hope in HIM!
