A Message from Pastor
It is Reformation Weekend! Every year we commemorate the nailing of the 95 Theses to the doors of the Wittenberg Castle Church. While this is a major historical event, which had a major impact on Christianity, western culture, education, and so many other things, the focus of the Reformation isn't any of those things. It isn't Martin Luther either. The Reformation was, and is, all about Jesus! It is all about celebrating the unearned grace and love of God given to us in the death and resurrection of Jesus! Let's celebrate Jesus together this weekend!

A GIFT TO THE GLORY OF GOD: An All-Saints’ Day Reflection - Weekend November 1st-2nd
As we prepare to celebrate All Saints’ Day, we give thanks for the faithful people whose lives have pointed us toward God. The whole Church remembers some, while others are known only to their families, friends, and communities. Yet each, in ways great or small, offered a gift to the glory of God.
St. Andrews provides a variety of opportunities for those to make a special gift to the glory of God in memory of a departed loved one. Please use this link to make a contribution in memory of a loved one.
May the witness of all the saints encourage us to live generously and faithfully. And may every gift we offer—seen or unseen—be given with gratitude and dedicated to the glory of God.
Gracious God, we thank you for all the saints who have gone before us. Strengthen us to follow their faithful example, to serve with joy, and to offer our lives as gifts to your glory. Amen.

MISSION OF THE MONTH: Last Sunday’s Crop Hunger Walk, the St. Andrews October Mission of the Month, was sponsored by Church World Service. It is part of a movement that began 57 years ago, made up of compassionate people in more than 500 communities across the country. The funds raised will provide life-saving support, including emergency food and resources, along with seeds, tools, and programs that help people in underdeveloped countries feed themselves in the future.

How the Sausage is Made (Sermon Study) - October 20, 2026
Pastors Matthew and Ethan discuss Ethan’s sermon on Matthew 22 and Jesus’ words about rendering to Caesar. Rather than focusing on taxes or church and state, Ethan used the passage to explore what it means to be made in God’s image. Beginning with Genesis, they reflect on humanity as God’s beloved creation—and as a broken image restored through Jesus. They …

Never Alone - Reformation 2026
We live in an age when people feel increasingly disconnected, but that never how God intended for us to live! We celebrate the Reformation this year by looking at Smalcald Part III Article IV, which was written about 20 years after the famous nailing of the 95 theses to the door of the Wittenberg chapel. This article instructs on the …

Picture Perfect

Pastor Ethan explores a unique interaction between Jesus and the men trying to get rid of him. He is faced with a question about paying taxes to Caesar in hopes that he'll be condemned no matter how he answers. But Jesus refuses to play ball. His response “give to Caesar the things that are Caesar's and to God the things …
