GIFT PLANNING: A good gift plan within an estate includes inheritance for family and gifts to ministry. Some might consider this a difficult task. How does an LCMS Foundation Gift Planning Counselor help? Many people can get involved in this gift planning and estate process. It can include attorneys, tax preparers, financial planners, as well as ministry leaders and family members. Your LCMS Foundation Associate Gift Planning Counselor will assist with your communication with all these people so that you construct a plan that will last. Contact Ray Pagels at [email protected] or his cell 847.226.2262.
FOOD PANTRY UPDATE: 148 households visited the St Paul of the Cross food pantry in April. Most needed items are cold cereal, pancake mix and syrup, canned mixed vegetables and plain WHITE rice (l lb.). Thank you for your continuing support!
MISSION OF THE MONTH: The LCMS Ministry to the Armed Forces, our current Mission of the Month, encourages synodical congregations to assist in its ministry to military personnel. It is encouraging congregations to 1. Pray for our troops, 2. Recognize veterans in their congregations, and 3. Celebrate and remember our nation’s military veterans, service personnel, chaplains, and military families. The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod offers responsive prayers, sermon resources, and bulletin inserts to help congregations plan celebrations. Donations to assist in the work of our mission of the month can be made through our weekend offerings or directly to the LCMS Ministry to the Armed Forces.

A Message from Pastor
This weekend we join Christians everywhere celebrating one of our foundational beliefs that also happens to be one of the greatest mysteries of the faith - The Holy Trinity. We are blessed to be able to worship the One True God in His fullness in the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit!
Today is also an important day for our St. Andrews Family in particular. Our faithful Principal, Ms. Laura Boggs, is retiring at the end of this school year. We are so happy for her well-earned retirement, but also so sad that she is stepping down from her role after so many years of loving service. Please join us of a celebration banquet after the service on Sunday, as we thank her, celebrate her, and share in the wonder of God's grace together!

How the Sausage is Made (Sermon Study) - June 16, 2026
Pastor Matt reviews his sermon on Psalm 19, and how God gives evidence into his nature in the nature we see in the heavens. Pastor Ethan talks about his upcoming sermon on Psalm 34 and God's gracious order, which he gives us in the midst of our disorder and chaos.

Order Out of Chaos
Pastor Ethan helps us meditate through the poetic brilliance of Psalm 34. King David, through the inspiration of the Spirit, wrote these beautiful words amidst a chaotic season of his life. He cried out to God, and God answered him. Psalm 34 reminds us that no matter what we endure, there is always deliverance, hope, and rescue through Christ.

The Law of the Lord is Perfect
Pastor Matt takes us through Psalm 19 and connects it to Matthew 5:17-20. In the Gospel we learn how much Jesus values the Law of God, and in the Psalms we learn that even the Cosmos gives evidence to God's order, laws, and rules. God's Law is perfect, and if we open our eyes, we get to see it at …
