Never Alone – Reformation 2026

Passage: 2 Timothy 4:1-13
Service Type:

We live in an age when people feel increasingly disconnected, but that never how God intended for us to live!  We celebrate the Reformation this year by looking at Smalcald Part III Article IV, which was written about 20 years after the famous nailing of the 95 theses to the door of the Wittenberg chapel.  This article instructs on the importance of the “Mutual conversation and consolation of the bretheren.”  We need one another, and God works through our Christian relationships and interations!  Paul experienced this consolation when Luke refused to leave his side, even when he was in prison.  Luther was surrounded by great people who supported him and encouraged him.  We are called to share the love of Christ, who was born in the flesh into this world, by being present and encouraging with our Brothers and Sisters in Christ.  We have recieved grace in the cross and empty tomb of Christ!  Let’s celebrate that together!
