Starting August 9, Middle School and High School youth will meet every Sunday!
-Middle School: 5-7pm
-High School: 6:30-8:30pm
-(6:30-7:00pm will be a time of shared food and fellowship b/w both groups!)
The theme for Youth Group this year is…
“Who Are We?: Discovering who God is, who I am, and why that matters.”
We are going to dive into the scriptures and become better equipped to step out into an increasingly non-Christian world. We will grow more confident in what we believe. We will discover what it means to be a Christian, what it means to belong to the one true God, and how that impacts every part of our lives.

Confirmation
Confirmation is a two-year journey typically completed during the 7th and 8th grade years. We meet every Sunday morning for both social and instructional formation.
-The social portion of Confirmation is from 9:45-10:45am where kids will share in each other’s lives, pray together, and participate in activities aimed at forming relationships.
-The instructional portion of Confirmation takes place within the Foundations Service at 11:00am. This worship service focuses on teaching the foundations of our faith through Scripture and Luther’s Small Catechism. Confirmands will take an active role in the service by serving as ushers, readers, communion assistants, and more. Through this immersive and experiential Confirmation journey, young Christians and their families will grow more confident in their faith and will be equipped to continue living out their hope in Jesus in their daily lives.
Please come to Confirmation Orientation on Sunday, September 6. We will meet in the gym immediately following the 9:30am worship service to go over important information and set expectations for a great year ahead!

Pastor Ethan
Associate Pastor
Rev. Ethan Luft is the Associate Pastor of Youth and Family Life here at St. Andrews Lutheran Church and School. He and his wife, Wren, are Missouri natives – each from suburbs of Kansas City. They have recently celebrated the birth of their beautiful daughter Isla. Pastor Ethan has a passion for people. He loves building relationships and creating space for others to hear the hope that is ours in the death and resurrection of Jesus. In his personal time, Pastor Ethan can be found painting Bob Ross scenes with his wife, going on walks with his family, or playing his guitar to Isla. Pastor Ethan received his Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in General Business from Northwest Missouri State University in 2021. He is a 2025 graduate of Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, MO where he earned his Master of Divinity.
